MORE INFORMATION ON GOLF CARTS, ATV'S AND UTILITY VEHICLES
Due to the concern of a citizen, I just got off the phone with the Missouri Highway Patrol and learned a few things.
1. Golf Carts are NOT legal on streets at any time or for any purpose. The exception is parades.
2. A golf cart is NOT classified as a utility vehicle.
3. Cities may not pass ordinances allowing golf carts because state law does not define them nor recognize them as street legal vehicles.
I believe in what's fair is fair. I took an oath to uphold the law, not to cater to the whims a desires of a few and allow exceptions. We have to obey the laws, folks.
